Kailash Dwara: Panchabhoota Chronicles by VISHESH Hadimane ,  VISHESH H V

After reading the first part of the Kailash Dwara series, I was intrigued to know more about the journey of the characters and how everything is sorted out. I picked up this book, and this book is a gripping thriller that hooked me from the beginning till the end. It blends mythology, fantasy, and high-stakes adventure.

The story expands the characters and the mysteries involved with them. The intro of powerful forces and unexpected alliances kept the suspense level high for me. The time switches from Devaant on Mars to the olden era of Lord Shiva and Sati, which makes it more riveting. The timeline of how Parvati starts visiting the Lingams, starting from Kanchipuram and then further. Even Devaant starts from the same place.

It is intriguing to read how Maa Parvati and Devaant from this era reach each of the five elements of the world to save the world. For this each person has to face some obstacles and how they save themselves and protect the lingams from the bad powers. Will they be able to save the earth and humanity within the time frame? Will Devaant and his friends be able to join the panchbhoota?

Quotes from the book that piqued me:

💕“Shiva is beyond wealth and beyond status. He is what remains when every illusion has fallen away. My heart knows no other path.”

💖 “I must return to him,” she whispered. “Ours is not only a love. It is the balance that holds the universe together.”

The author successfully blends ancient Indian traditions with imaginative storytelling. He vividly made the fictional world feel both magical and believable. The concept of celestial pathway and the age-old conflict between good and evil is presented in a novel manner with several twists and turns.

The story is fast-paced, and the world-building is excellent. The characters continue from the first book and now feel familiar, making you root for them. What sets the story apart is the ability to incorporate mythological elements in a fantasy setting while still making them believable.

Overall, Kailash Dwara: Panchabhoota Chronicles is a fitting addition to the Kailash Dwara series and a great read for the fans of mythology and adventure.
