Hearts and Hiccups is a short cute story of being true to yourself and finding happiness in little moments. It vividly depicts the sweetness of friendships.

The story follows Nia, Amanda, and Jay, who are friends. Nia and Amanda are roommates and can do anything for each other. Their friendship is the core of the book. One day they play a prank, and participation brings Jay and Amanda close. They become close to each other without the trio even noticing.

As the story develops, Amanda and Jay develop affections for one another and begin a romance. Nia is truly delighted for her friend, and as the years pass, each of them matures in their own way. Nia advances in her job. While Amanda and Jay's relationship evolves in their marriage. Life changes throughout the years, but the three have a deep friendship.

Nia meets Siddhant like a lovely breeze in her life. But it is intriguing to read how their life takes a turn on the entry of Siddhant. Will friendship sustain?

It’s supportive, genuine, and the kind of friendship everyone deserves.  I also loved how the author portrays grief and the different ways people cope with loss, adding another emotional layer to the story.

Overall, it is a heartwarming read.
