"When Halloween Met Christmas” is a thought-provoking story that blends supernatural mystery with emotional depth. Halloween could also guide you, with eye-opening thoughts being the core of the story. I was so lost in the story that I finished the book in one go.

The story revolves around two people, Aster and Sky. Both are struggling with the weight of their past decisions. As they met on Halloween night, there was a spark unknown to them. They felt a liking for each other. On interacting they get to know about each other and their pasts. They share about how they are living, regrets and the outcomes of their decisions.

Their bond is unusual but deeply human, showing how people can find understanding in the most unexpected places. The buildup toward Christmas Eve adds tension, as the truth behind their connection slowly comes to light.

I was intrigued to know how these would be united and could feel their journey of living and emotional experience. It made me feel the power of Christmas.

I liked the scene when Alexandria tells Sky to stop overthinking and jump into the water; the contrast between them becomes clear. Sky has always been built for caution and hesitation, while Alexandria seems to be made for moments like this – bold, fearless, and alive.

But watching her in the water, strong, steady, and waiting, shifts something in him. She makes the world feel bigger, brighter, and more possible. For the first time in a long time, Sky realises he doesn’t want to be the person who holds himself back.

The author has well penned the emotional impact of taking wrong decisions taken in an adroit manner. He pinpoints that it is never too late, and the Almighty takes a toll to bring back his lost children towards him in an unusual manner.

Overall, it is an emotional read.
