"
Mumbaii Expeeriment" is a police procedural thriller that will keep you glued to your chair. Not only does it provide thrills, but it also has enough theatrical flare to allow you to associate and relate to the characters.
What begins as a regular investigation for Inspector John quickly develops into a sequence of gruesome homicides, each more horrible than the last one. But the true shock is not simply the gore, but the terrible realisation that the victims are connected to John's own past.
But the bodies keep piling in, and John has to race against the clock to catch the culprit while dealing with internal department politics, his failing domestic sanctuary, and his past that is gradually blending into his present. Will he be able to straighten his life out amidst the various storms that are all rushing towards him?
Birajdar writes with the assurance of someone who is not just reporting events, but also directing an experience. Every chapter is like a sealed doorway to a new dimension—mysterious, emotional, even unsettling, but always irresistible.
Overall, a commendable read.
