I really liked Orchid's daring escape from the Enchanter's kingdom, giving us a glimpse of her determination and longing for freedom. The characters, like Chang, add a touch of camaraderie and mystery to the unfolding plot. As the story progresses, Orchid's journey intertwines with magical education, betrayal, and the complexities of war.

The book is well-written and engaging, with a fast-paced plot and unexpected twists.
