Friend or Foe? The west's great plan of world dominance by Tim I. Gurung

Friend or Foe? The west's great plan of world dominance by Tim I. Gurung

The world is a field of competition, and the winner takes all. History is always about the winners, and nobody remembers the losers. This is the very reason why we all must give our utmost best in life.

It is a very significant and thought-provoking read which is very much relatable and can mesmerize readers to rethink regarding the geopolitical changes amidst technological eras after the world wars.

The author suggests that power has simply evolved, shifting from direct rule to influence over ideas, culture, and perception. He has well penned the mere difference of friend and foe and in which aspects these countries play as our friend and in which areas they are our biggest enemies.

It made me reflect on how certain frameworks we learn, even academically, might quietly shape the way we see the world today. The usage of english is so dominant that many students fail back in completely knowing their own regional language.

The writing is clear and easy to follow despite the weight of the subject. The chapters are short and well structured.  I liked how the author avoids difficult words or typical words of that area and instead explains complex ideas in a way that actually makes you stop and think.

Overall, this is a thought-provoking read for anyone interested in global politics, power dynamics, and the hidden forces shaping today’s world.
