"Adrija" is a heartwarming story that keeps the reader engrossed from the beginning till the end. Set in the bustling city of Mumbai, it embarks on the tedious and risky job of a reporter, Rudra, who continuously reports from the crime scene. After completing his work, he booked a cab after several efforts were made to find a different internet service. 
 
To his surprise, his cab driver is a girl, Adrija. She is a beautiful, hard-working, and young college girl. Rudra falls for her at first sight. Their initial talks made them comfortable with each other, and they exchanged their numbers.
 
Gradually, they get to know each other well, and a secret of Adrija's past is revealed before him. It is intriguing to read about how the storyline takes twists and turns. I was completely eager to find out whether Rudra would accept Adrija after knowing her past or would walk away.
 
The author has well-crafted Rudra and Adrija's characters that relate to the readers and add depth to it. Their love connection is quite genuine and relatable. The way her past is revealed makes a romantic story into a thrilling book. 
 
The language of the book is lucid, emotionally engaging, and heart-touching. The author has meticulously painted a vivid scenario of monsoon chaos, gender inequality, flooded tracks, or open wires. His storytelling is straightforward, making readers engrossed and intrigued by season-related chaos. The pacing of the narrative is fast-paced and makes it hard to put down.
 
Overall, the book balances emotional beats with suspense, ensuring the narrative flows smoothly. I enjoyed reading the curves and thrills of the storyline. I recommend this book to all cosy mystery lovers.

 Book review: "Bewitched" by Ruchi Singh charmed me, sucked me in right all along, and took me on a genuinely rich excursion of self-revelation, battling against shamefulness, paying attention to your heart, and forfeiting for the sake of adoration.
